It is as simple as that, armed with the proper comps for your property, you will succeed in your appeal process. Does that mean you won't be denied 1,2 maybe even 3 times before you get your desired outcome, yes it does. You will surely be denied your first time you submit, and you will be given the opportunity to appeal, and you will appeal. You will meet with the BOE and they will most likely deny your appeal - but will offer a (3) year freeze. But why freeze at the wrong amount. So off to the next appeal meeting you go. By now you are confident in yourself and your numbers and guess what, it will pay off because by this point its taking time and resources to handle your appeal at the county office. Now it's time to talk deals and they will talk. So sit back, relax and let your numbers talk for you every time. Your numbers don't lie and they will eventually make a deal, you have to make every meeting and that's where they hope you will slip up.
